Hello everyone…I know its been a while, but it's been quite busy these days at work, so no spare time to finish FRs.
Anyway, here's the return report from Ft. Lauderdale to Bogotá.
You can read the inbound flight here
At FLL
Since the flight left so early I was kindly driven by my mum to the airport, which at the wee hours of the morning is a reasonable 20 minutes away from were we were staying.
FLL terminal 3, as all FLL terminals except for terminal 1 is quite drab. A bit stuck in the 90s, but it does its job.
I went to the bag drop queue, where my documents were checked and my BP was issued. Even though there was a bit of a crowd, the check in process took less than 15 minutes.
That wasn't the case with the TSA queue. While queuing I met with a friend from high school, so I had someone to chat while we waited to board.

A gorgeous Airbus to Brazil

Boarding, Taxi and Take Off
Boarding was painless and organised and in no time I took my window seat.

The day's IFE offering would be quite limited since we were flying out of the contiguous US territory. Come to think about it…the IFE is lame on the FLL-BOG-FLL flights on this respect. Can't compete in this respect with AV, LA and AA's offering on the SoFL-BOG market.

Boarding done, it was time to take off. It afforded lovely views of FLLs terminals and the Broward/Dade region.

On the way to Bogotá
While cruising I had access to the internet, which was useful for a couple of minutes until it was completely worthless.
Due to the ungodly hour in which I had to wake up to the airport I decided the IFE, and the meh catering didn't justify staying awake. Thus I napped most of the flight till we were basically over Medellín, the nice views made up for the lack of IFE.

Arrival to BOG
Landing was smooth and painless. One of the advantages of the flight schedule is arriving at a very comfortable time to BOG. A friend had offered to pick me up, so extra happy-points for me. The bags took their usual amount of time to show up, around 20 minutes, which made for most of the time between the plane and my friends car.

Thanks for this FR.
It seems this A320 was pretty old.
B6 might help to keep the prices low on these routes but I agree the service is superior on AV or LA.
Thanks for sharing this FR Chibcha.
I agree with you about B6. It's a pretty decent airline that still seems to know how to treat customers compared to the U.S. legacy carriers. I flew NK once from LAX-LAS and I don't like the bare bones approach.
See you.
