A Commendable flight Back Home on The National Carrier!!
Here's my 13th Trip Report (My 2nd on Flight-Report.com)
KUL-CMB(4th July 2016/Sri Lankan Airlines UL319/Airbus A320-200)
Planing Process
After being stuck in KLIA due to the Incompetence of AirAsia's ground staff, I managed to get the last available seat on UL319 to Colombo, that too at a price similar to a Return Ticket on the Same sector Nevertheless managed to get on UL319, operated on 4R-ABP one of the newer Airbus A320's in the SriLankan Airlines Fleet, Code Shared by Mihin Lanka

Check-in/Immigration
So a long story cut short, Check-in and the boarding process was absolutely efficient and extremely fast with a dedicated counter for Web Check in and FlySmiles members with me being the first passenger to have my baggage dropped off, which was quite a relief since i had to spend over 10 hours at KLIA.
Onward to Gate 13.

Trip Report 13
The crew was friendly and welcoming however a very few words were exchanged between them and the passengers on board.I should say the Interaction levels form the Malindo Crew on my in-bound flight was by far better and it was sad to see a decline in levels of Sri Lankan Hospitality as well as service which was not up to standard unlike it was in the past…
Oh Well, at least this seemed to be better than my previous sector from Cochin to Colombo
The MH Airbus A380-800 in All its Glory!

A Malaysia Airlines Boeing 737-800!

Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300ER getting prepared for departure as QR845 to Doha (DOH) as well as KLM Boeing 777-200ER to Amsterdam (AMS) along with a Malaysia Airlines Boeing 737-800 and Silk Air Airbus A320-200 in sight!

Malaysia Airlines Boeing 737-800 in Retro Livery, now that was a pleasant sight!!

Seat The seat was comfortable but a little tight for a Medium-Haul with only around 30" of leg room which was a little disappointing

IFE Was nice to see that 4R-ABP was maintained very well and was delighted to see on-board IFE, which featured a variety of entertainment, but were pretty old and outdated.
However the touch screens were responsive and worked perfectly fine.
I Personally didn't require or use much of the IFE as i was mainly focused on getting some much needed Sleep

Meal Service Noticed a drinks run shortly before takeoff flowed by the meal service, which i think consisted of a Traditional Sri Lankan breakfast dish called "Kiri-Bath" (Milk Rice) with a more Continental Omelette and Sausages being the other option (if I am not mistaken). These being the usual options on Early Morning Flights on UL to Singapore and Kuala Lampur
Did not have the meal due to this being the auspicious month of fasting, By the looks of the meal, it hadn't changed much since my last flight in 2011 to KUL, so I guess i didn't miss anything spectacular.

Managed to catch up with close to 2.5 hours of sleep, falling asleep over Medan and waking up on approach to the East Coast of Sri Lanka, possibly somewhere over Batticaloa.

Landing was top class as usual followed by Baggage Claim was very fast and so was Immigration and I managed to complete that along with a little duty free shopping in a little under an Hour.
Overall a great trip and a good flight on a very Reliable Carrier, with upcoming plans to visit next year too, so stay tuned for that!
(Apologies for the unstable camera as i was incredibly tired and it was quite challenging not to fall asleep)
Any photos of the meal?
Thanks for your comment!!
Was unable to get any pictures of the meal on this flight
