Hello everybody,
After a very nice and sunny weekend in Denmark it was time to head back home.
A friend dropped me off in front of the small but nice and modern terminal of Billund airport.

Security control was fast and there is a nice airside selection of some shops and bars/restaurants.

I already could spot my Lufthansa Airbus 319 parked at one of the airbridges.

Going down some stairs I arrived at the gate area where a KLM Cityhopper Embraer to Amsterdam was already boarding next to our plane.

Boarding for my flight soon started and I took my window seat 19F.
Next to us a nice SAS CRJ900 was prepared for takeoff.

The flight ended up completely full.
The crew on this LH flight was extremely friendly and in good mood.
They all enjoyed their job and the first officer was proud to make many sightseeing announcements on our flight route e.g. highlighting different islands like Sylt or marine harbours etc.
Thanks to this there was a very nice and holiday mood feeling on board.
Announcements were done in German, English and also prerecorded in Danish.
We took off on time in westerly direction before turning towards the south.
Flight conditions were great this evening and you could follow a slow and nice sunset on this flight that took 1 hour.
Soon after takeoff cabin crew sprung into action and served a good tasting sandwich and a complete choice of drinks free of charge.
I opted for some tea and water as drinks.

During descend I had great views of Frankfurt skyline during sunset before we touched down at Frankfurt airport.

We parked on an apron position before being bused to the terminal B arrival area.
The first officer even highlighted the nice LH Cargo MD-11 during sunset which parked next to us and said good bye to all before turning off the seat belt sign.
A very nice and personal end for this flight :)

Thank you for sharing this FR with us!
The weather seemed to be great that day :).
Beautiful shot of Frankfurt before arrival.
Have a good one, see you!
