Review of Delta Air Lines flight from New York to San Francisco in Business

Hello and welcome to another Delta Airlines Delta One Business Class Flight Report! My first ever report was with the Delta One 767-300 on the New York JFK-SFO flight. This time, I tried out the Business Class on the 757-200 on the same route. For comparison, here's my flight report with the 767 JFK-SFO: link
Day started out beautifully with just a couple days before Hurricane Hermine was forecast to hit the Northeast US Region. I took the AirTrain from Jamaica to JFK's Terminal 4:

Delta's Transcontinental Routes depart from the B-concourse of Terminal 4. It was a very long walk to Gate B37 but I did manage to catch a glimpse of this beast as it prepares to head out to Abu Dhabi (AUH).

Here is the bird that will take us to San Francisco–N712TW. This is a B757-200 which took her first flight back in 1997. Thankfully, Delta had a massive retrofit of their fleet updating the cabin on this plane with a 2-2 reverse herringbone layout for the Business Class Cabin. Unlike the 767 (which flies the same route) which has direct-aisle access for all seats, the window seats don't have aisle access. But for a relatively short 5:45 flight, you really would only go to bathroom once (maybe twice) and so I didn't think greatly of it. Furthermore, I felt I had more privacy with the 757 seats as compared to the 767. The screens are also larger compared to the other offering.

Here is a look of my seat for the flight. As you may notice, they have not re-branded the seats yet from the "Business Elite" to "Delta One". Suffice to say, the product offerings are still the same.

The screen is great and legroom is generous as well. Unfortunately, there isn't really much of a storage space here. You have the magazine rack, IFE remote, and seat controls to your right; and power ports and reading light to your left. You can also lower the left armrest to give you more space in bed-mode.

You are also given a pair of headsets, TUMI Amenity Kit, and Westin Pillow and Duvet which are very very comfy!
Soon after departure, I played around with the IFE only to learn that it was not working for this flight! No movies, music, or TV Shows, except for DISH Satellite Live TV. I wouldn't knock DL for it as I'm sure this was an isolated case. I made the most out of it by watching the US Open which was offered through ESPN. The video-streaming still works as well so I was able to watch a couple of movies on my iPad.
Meal service started about an hour after takeoff. For starters, we have the Shrimp and Egg Mayonnaise with chives and tarragon and Farm Lettuce with valbreso feta, scallions, and champagne vinaigrette.

Next up was the main course. I chose the Pink Sea Trout with marble potatoes, carrots, turnips, and pearl onions. The person seated next to me chose the same meal so no comparison this time around.

To finish off, I had Vanilla Ice Cream with milk chocolate sauce.

Here's another look now in bed mode. Again, the pillow and duvet provided were very comfortable. The seat (err bed) itself wasn't bad either and I didn't really notice anything different with the 767 except that you're definitely more enclosed in, which I greatly appreciate.

The flight ended in SFO uneventfully and on-time. I also managed to take a shot of this Korean 747-800 taking off from RWY 28L.
