Welcome to this flight report, detailing a trip I took from Vienna to London Heathrow. Although this flight report the Vienna to Heathrow leg only, I would later connect on to a British Airways Boeing 787 Dreamliner operating to Philadelphia!
Vienna Airport is excellently connected to the city centre, with a train station located within the airport building!
There were some queues at the check-in counter for British Airways, however shotly I was checked-in and received my boarding cards for the three flights ahead of me on this day: Vienna to London and London to Philadelphia with British Airways, and Philadelphia to Boston with American Airlines.

After security I realised that I was still somewhat early for my flight, so I headed to a restaurant with a nice view of the apron at Vienna.

Eventually it was time to head to the depature gate for my flight. The boarding process was effeciant and I was the second passenger to board the Airbus A320!

Shortly after takeoff the cabin service began. A ham hock were handed out, with drinks of passengers' choice.

After another hour of smooth flight we had he English coast, east of London.

A company A320 below us as we entered one of the holding patterns for Heathrow.

Vienna is one of the destinations which British Airways operates from Heathrow's Terminal 3. This would prove quite a hassle for this journey, since I needed to change terminals and head towards Heathrow's Terminal 5, which meant that I had to hurry since my connection was 80 mins long!
