Welcome to my latest flight report. which documents the continuation of a journey I made from Dublin to Hamburg via Frankfurt in July 2013.

After arriving on our flight from Dublin, we headed towards security and afterwards to the departure gate for our flight to Hamburg.
Enjoying the excellent coffee stations and newspapers provided at Lufthansa departure gates during morning hours.

Soon it was time to head to our flight! Boarding had already commenced by the time we reached the gate so we just walked right on.

During this short flight delicious Leibniz butter biscuits were handed out. I had mine with a coffee.
From wheels up to wheels down, this flight was 43 minutes long, so the cruise period was barely enough for the crew to service the full aircraft.

The arrivals experience at Hamburg airport was very straightforward, and were we soon onboard the regional tram headed towards the city centre!

Conclusion

This was a very short and pleasant flight. It was on this flight that I discovered Leibniz biscuits, something I now always make sure I buy whenever I visit Germany! Something else which I particularly enjoyed was the free coffee and newspapers which are positioned at Lufthansa departure gates during morning hours. It's a simple but much-appreciated amenity, especially since we had been on the move since the very early hours of the morning!
