Welcome to my latest flight report, detailing a flight I took on St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) 2013, flying from Frankfurt to London Heathrow with Lufthansa!
Returning from a short trip to the city, I made my way for that famous departures board in Lufthansa's Terminal 1 at FRA.

Security, although with lenghty queues, was a quick process and I headed for some food afterwards. Having some spare time before my flight to LHR, I decided to take some pictures of the aircraft to be seen around FRA.

I was intrigued to see this Turkish Airlines Airbus A330 boarding via stars in the heavy rain!

In the distance I could spot an All Nippon 787 Dreamliner which at the time was grounded due to safety concerns.

Soon it was time for my flight to LHR. At the boarding gate was Airbus A320 D-AIQC.

It was a full flight, however the aircraft departed without delay and after a quick taxi took off into the skies above Frankfurt.
A tasty ham & cheese croissant was served with drinks. The rest of the flight was uneventful.

Unboarding exiting security I quickly nabbed a ticket for a Heathrow Express train which was just about to leave and headed towards the city of London!
