Welcome to my latest trip report, documenting a flight with British Airways from London Heathrow to Dublin. I had landed into Heathrow on an American Airlines Boeing 777-300ER coming from New York JFK. Here's what happened next!
Exhausted from my overnight transatlantic flight, I comforted myself with some Pret a Manger!

On the bus from the terminal to the waiting A319 we passed some A380s and B747s!

It was a pretty standard busy LHR-DUB flight. Being an ex-British Midland aircraft, the interior of this A319 had the bmi interior which isn't as comfortable as the standard BA A320 family interior.

My home airline sitting across the way!

Terminal 1 would close a few months after I took this trip. British Airways moved its Heathrow-Dublin route to Terminal 5 and Aer Lingus moved to the newly-built Terminal 2.

I had forgotten that United Airlines once had this livery!

This was one of British Airways's first Dreamliners. It had just been delivered from Boeing that week.

A South African A330 or A340 always seems to be parked in this spot whenever I'm at Heathrow!

A simple snack and drink was offered onboard!

After a brief 30 mins of flying the descent into Dublin began.

Luckily were were able to depart using a jetbridge! We were quickly processed through passport control and soon on our way home!
