Review of Ryanair flight from Gdańsk to Warsaw in Economy

This is my report covering the second leg of my one day trip to Gdansk.
Ryanair offers very good timetable on this route allowing passengers from Gdansk a whole day stay in Warsaw and a full day trip to the Baltic coast in case of those living in the capital. I arrived to Gdansk about 8:30 a.m and my flight back was at 8:25 p.m.
To get back to the airport I took a very modern and comfortable train that covers the route in about 30 minutes.

The station is connected with the terminal building with a kind of a jet bridge so there is no need to go outside and the whole distance is really small.

It was good to arrive earlier as there were 3 Wizz flights departing at the same time making the queues to the security control very long. As on most Polish airports the security control was very strict and detailed but unlike WAW in GDN the staff is very polite. The terminal building isn't very big but it is spacious and well designed which makes the access to the gates, shops, bars and toilet very easy.

It seems to be a standard for Ryanair to start boarding when the plane's wheels touch the runway arriving from its previous flight. That's why I find any priority boarding completely useless as people boarded first simply spend more time waiting in the jet bridge or on the stairs until the aircraft is prepared and the boarding is finished. Then everyone rushes downstairs to the aircraft.

My seat was 15C, next to a mother with a lively little child but as there was noone in the emergency row 16 I was asked by a friendly FA to move to 16F, so once more I got 3 seats for my self, an extra legroom and a feeling of being useful operating the window exit in case of emergency ;)

There is no advertisment over the safety card in emergency exit rows as the space is needed for information notice.

From the very beginning the flight is very commercial. The FAs offer various shop on board products even before take off and there will be a perfume offer presentation inflight with some testing which made whole cabin smell like a perfume shop.

There was a long walk from the aircraft to the terminal and a Ryanair poster welcoming to Warsaw.

That's the end of my trip, there was just a 40 minutes ride home waiting for me.
