Turkish Airlines had an amazing deal at £327 to Hong Kong so i didn't hesitate to book it.
Going through Manchester Airport T1 isn't how it used to be. Now you are funnelled through the Duty Free shop which is common at some UK airports.
As always i eat before i leave the house. I read that they charge a non refundable fee to use the Luggage trolley's on landside, and i've also noticed the amount of Trolley's being dumped on the outskirts to have gone up, i guess if they don't get their money back then they don't bother about returning them. Thus i guess creates another job for someone which could be a positive but still i'd prefer a free trolley but i don't use them anyway as i travel light for 3 month trips. Next time it will just be my mini backpack for 3 months :)
Boarding was efficient, Cabin crew were friendly and the flight left on time.
I caught the AWACS on camera.
The food was awesome, i can't believe how much food you get, two steak burger thingies. By the time i got to the long haul flight, i was like ok i'll eat more ^_^
The Turkish Delight was nice and almondy like with a nice sweetness.
There was plenty of drink rounds which was good.

We landed and i went in search of WIFI but i couldn't find any, i think there was some on my return flight near a gate.

I'm glad your flight was operated with one of the newer birds with Sharklets and IFE.
Catering looks excellent as always on TK, the portion size is pretty generous.
I would like to give TK another chance after 7 bad flights with them.
