Hello everyone!
Here is a new FR.
I apologize for some pics i couldn't turn them over that i took with my phone in upright position.
I don't know the reason.
I have decided to make it in english contrary to my previous ones.
Indeed, i noticed that all Paris CDG->Amsterdam were reported in french on the website.
Probably because this journey is the "shuttle" between the hubs of AF-KLM group.
It's time to change that.
To introduce myself i would say that i'm a simple traveler. I always travel by myself and love to discover the world.
Today i'm going to Romania. I don't know yet this country and thought that it would be interesting to see how they live, how are people and cities.
Why have i chosen KLM?
I checked different websites and it sounded to be the most logical choice.
I had different options:
1. Air France-> direct flights exist but too expensive the price was prohibitive.
2. TAROM-> same reason than Air France.
3. WIZZ AIR-> direct flights as well prices were lower but the departure was too early. Moreover this airline takes off from Beauvais airport. This is a low cost airport located at 80 kms (50 miles) from Paris.
4. Alitalia->better price but the transfer would have lasted 6 hours in Rome FCO.
5. Lufthansa-> good price as well with transfer in Frankfurt.
6. KLM -> same price than Lufhtansa transfer of 3 hours in Amsterdam.
Being a skyteam member i gave priority to KLM. This airline never really disappointed me.
My trip started out in Opera in the centre of Paris where i took the Roissy Bus. This bus is a direct one to CDG airport which serves each terminal.
Saturday by early morning it's for me the best option (as public transport).

Arrival at CDG airport Terminal 2F 40 mins later. This is the hub of Air France and it skyteam partners.
All it schengen flights take off from here.
Not a lot of people today landside.
I will use the Skypriority's counter and will be alone.

Want to recharge your phone?

The terminal is quite modern. The corridor that you see at right leads to the other part of the terminal.

The wide windows allow to spot a lot.

The terminal is getting fuller and fuller.
Time to reach the lounge.

The lounge is quiet i think that everybody is waking up and don't want to talk a lot :p.

Catering is very correct.
Just one the coffee machines is out of order. As long as the lounge is not full no problem!

International press. The offer could be better.

Rather than the french press is well-stocked.

The lounge is divided in 2 part one in the 1st floor (where is the entrance) the other one in the ground floor.
Let's go downstairs!

View from the ground floor.

As often i ask for toothpaste to brush my teeth after my breakfast and as often i will get the entire case.

It's time to go. let's go back to the terminal which is totally full now.

Flight on time

Our aircraft a B 737-700.

It neighbour is a french cousin

The economy seats.

The legroom is very good for my 1m75 (between 5'7 and 5'8 feet)

Hi brother see you in Amsterdam!

Joining the runway.

The Holland Herald of the month.

Very correct catering for barely a hour of flight.

The sandwich is very simple. A piece of cheese with a kind of mustard.

Amsterdam we're coming!

Smooth landing.

Here is the cargo terminal.

My next flight is waiting for me in the concourse D, i'm in the C.
Here we go!

Thanks for this report,
I didn't use roissybus since 3 years and i didn't know that wifi is available onboard now.
Prices were similar for KL and LH, so according to your status, KL was the best option.
Wish you'll post a report for your next flight and a bonus too!
Hello Benoit thank you.
I used to take Roissy bus and yes the wifi is available since 2 years ago now i think.
No worries it's planned.
Thank you for sharing this FR with us!
The cabin looks nice, love the blue colour.
I would love to try out KLM one day, it seems like a nice way to fly in Europe.
Have a good one, see you!
Hello RI777
Thank you.
KLM is a good airline (according to me) it hub in AMS is quite good and very practical and compared to some other regular airlines you can often find cheap flights. The one negative point is if you have a connection lasting less than 90 mins sometimes they lose your luggage.
It happened to me twice last year and i got back my luggage the following day.
