It is the last day in KL, I took CX724 back to HKG. However, the flight had
been changed to the A330 which is not include first class. The plane is B-HLM,
it just 5.5 years when I took.
The display of the flight CX723
The plane took me to HKG — B-HLM
As you can see the FA wore the old uniform due to the celebration of
60th years anniversary of Cathay Pacific.
The passengers start on board.
The plane is start to takeoff.
The old IFE remote.
Safety card and Discovery magazine.
The plane was left KUL.
You can see the blue sky now.
Before start the meal service.
The peanuts.
The cabin.
Before the meal, I went to the washroom.

The blue sky again.
The meal I was chosen, the fish with potatoes. It was a tasty meal,
it nice to have cream sauce in this entree. The bread and salad it
taste normal.
My mum choice was a chicken rice, I haven't try but she just say taste
okay.
The dessert. I heard that CX was cut the dessert now, it was an angry
news for me.
You can see lots of passengers waiting for washroom.
The transit information.
Start for landing
Arrived HKG.
The photo is shown the regional business class. It was the oldest one
but it was the most comfortable one. You can see the "big ear".
Thank you for sharing this nostalgic FR with us!
It's really interesting to see how CX's cabin product has evolved over the years!
Have a good one, see you!
Yes, it seldom see the CX's old cabin in here.
It look really nice in that period, but looks no so good now.
Hope CX can hurry up and improve it.
Wow, a retro FR - I love it!
Its pretty hard to imagine a cabin like the one you had today - pretty epic!
Food looks decent too. I haven't had very good experiences on Cathay, but that's just me I guess....
Yes which is the retro FR.
It is pretty nice take CX in 2000's.
The meal was fine and you will enjoy the flight.
However, they cut cost now. I would not take CX with regional flight.
There long haul flight it just so so now, it just better than UA.
Great vintage report (the IFE remote control is sooo 20th century !)
Thanks for sharing !
Yes, it is a lovely IFE remote.
This remote had been instead by the latest remote.
