When We arrived to the airport, We found that our flight is delayed.
So I dicided to go to the spotting terrace:

After the check in, We got 6 Euro voucher for the resturants in the duty free area, due to the delay in the take off.
AMS terminal is clean, even the windows were so clean that I could take photos from them without any problems.

Conclusion

Israir is small Israeli airline, using 2 A320 and 2 ATR72.
When I traveled with Israir, they had 2 old leased A320 and old ATR42 aircrafts. My parents traveled with the new A320 and they look better than this airbus...
Today Israir prices are very high (more than ELAL!) and they don't serve meals during the flight, in some flights they would request payment for luggage. This made me to think that Israir should be LC airline.
For example: When I checked flight to OTP (Romania), ELAL price was 320$ USD (Including luggage, seat reserve and meal), Israir price was 400$ USD without luggage and meal!

The crew was very nice and accepted for my request to visit in the cockpit.
The flight took off 3 hours after the planned time, so They got 0 score in the On-time performance.

  • Great vintage plane spotting, with a number of birds which have disappeared since, like KLM's MD-11 and Martinair's 767.

Israir appears to have become low-cost service / high-cost fares...

Thanks for sharing this report !
