After 35 days of beautiful vacation around Florida was finally time to come back home. As for going there I'd have flown to Rome via Madrid.

My family and I reached the airport about 3 hours before the departure. We left the car to the rental service and then took the automated people mover to the Terminal. Air Europa was reported to be at Concourse J, the newest one of MIA. When we got there, after a long walkway, we discovered that the flight would have checked and boarded at Concourse F. This part of the terminal is older then the rest and looks more narrow. Fortunately we were there quite early but things like this could be a problem for passenger in late.
The only decent spotting point after the check-in
The security checkpoint was quite quickly. After the checkpoint there was a long anonymous corridor leading to the departure lounge.
The departure lounge was anonymous, small and lacked of good shops or places to eat.
Boarding started quite on time at gate F16
Finally on board

We left the gate on time and in a few minutes we're on the runway for take-off.
About one hour and half after the TO the dinner was served. The main course was pasta with cream and (maybe) meat. There was also a side of fresh salad and a chocolate pie.
After the dinner I watched Batman-The Dark Knight and I fell asleep. The quietness of the plane helped me to sleep.
I woke up here
The breakfast, a croissant with cheese and drinks, was served about one hour and half before landing.
Meanwhile we started to fly over Spain.
We landed on time in Madrid.
Taxiing to the terminal I had the possibility to spot a couple of nice liveries:
Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 767-300 in Star Alliance livery
Wamos Air (former Pullmantur Air) Boeing 747-400
While passengers were disembarking I went to the Purser asking for the flight report. He kindly ask me would you like to visit the cockpit sir?….that's my answer:
The flight report

Goodbye my baby! Hope to fly with you again
On our way to the next flight
