Hi all,
This segment is about the flight from Montreal to Toronto and a tour around Montreal airport:
The check in hall

Goimng back to the main terminal

Our gate to Toronto, empty now

What I love about Montreal airport is that you can roam freely to the international section of the terminal and browse there with no passport control between the domestic and international sides, which is great
The Int’l section

A peak at the under construction new addition to the terminal

BA 787 just arrived from Heathrow

Royal Air Maroc just arrived from Casablanca

AC used to hand out free ear phones before but now they sell them for $3.50

Getting off the plane into the domestic terminal

The domestic baggage claim area

For the bonus I’m adding some of my pictures from my plane spotting at Toronto’s airport

Plane for the NDP party of Canada during the Canadian Federal elections

Cheers,
Thnaks for your report!
Nice short flight. And always nice to get IFE not to get bored :)
See you!
Thanks very much Benoit :)
I use to grumble at Flight Reports with next to zero narratives, and yet I love this one which gives me an eerie feeling halfway between a silent movie and a supernatural airport populated by mindless ghosts. Maybe it has to do with the logic sequence of the pictures and their superbly crisp quality.
I love the seemingly impossible inverted pyramid of suitcases !
Great plane spotting shots at the end, with some dramatic lighting ! Did you notice that MU's and HU's names in Chinese are written in opposite directions on each side ? (in China, you write on a vehicle from front to rear, not from left to right).
I wish I had the opportunity to fly one day on one of SATA's A310 and/or Air North's ancient 732.
Thanks for sharing !
Thanks very much Marathon. Also very cool info about the MU and Hainan text direction :)
Haven't seen an A380 in a Flight-Report for a long time.
The domestic departures area in Montreal looks like a hospital to me, but Toronto is very nice.
Yes, the domestic part of YUL is not that great but the international side is much nicer.
Thank you for sharing this FR with us!
Nice spotting shots from YUL!
Seats look comfortable with a decent IFE system.
Overall it looks like you had a good flight with AC.
Fantastic spotting shots from YYZ!
See you!
Thanks so much RI 777, yes the AC seats are very comfortable and the IFE is very good indeed :)
Thanks for sharing this flight report with us! Great airports and planes shots!
Although the report not has many words, it is easy to read and the tone like a road movie :P It is so nice to have the IFE and nuts for this short flight! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks very much.
lol, yes, I know my flight reports are usually not very wordy, I am really the type that believes that each pic is worth a thousand words but I try to take as many pix as possible so they follow a certain story line :)
Great tour around Dorval...how much it has changed, I went there 16 years ago!
Thanks Chibcha. I'm glad you liked the pix :)
