I spent only the night here after seoul and left in the morning at the train station asakusabashi at 9:18am for the 11:55am flight. Plenty of time you'd think.
Last year i did the same train ride getting off at funabashi and walking outside the station to the other station for 1200 yen. this ticket was 1320 or so.
i got there and the ticket guy said that you can't use the ticket to go out and get the other so you need to go onto platform 4
to change through chiba station. soon as i got there, the train for the airport wasn't for an hour! great! so no way of getting to the airport on time now. Taxi would do it for 15,000 yen hah!
I asked a nice japanese person on the train for help and he checked flights for me, prices were like £350, £1200. I got to the airport at 11:45, i don't think i'll make 11:55.
So i just go to mcdonalds find a flight on tigerair for £100 leaving at 5pm and have a play on the highly expensive flight simulator at 200yen
I had a rest on the observation deck, i needed actual fresh air after having a little infection i guess.
Tigerair checkin staff had the scoot lanyard and tigerair lanyard, they were friendly staff who spoke very good english.
It took 45 mins in the queue and i was sequence 50
The staff let me check in luggage for free. i am sure it said online that i am supposed to pay.
I put my tripod on the chair to film the american 787, a us guy started getting suspicious about my obvious filming of the aircraft and kept looking behind him at my camera.
I then went for a shave and he came in there too. Now off to my gate to relax.
The Cabin crew were very kind and professional and enjoyed their work.
I went fast to the immigration, i did online arrival card. the immigration officers were mostly cute and pleasant girls smiling too but genuine smiles.

Hello! Thanks for sharing this flight experience with us. I believe this should be Tigerair Taiwan flight instead of a Tiger Airways flight. These two airlines are actually rather distinct and have different parent companies. You might want to amend that? (: The IATA code is IT.
I have had two flights on this new Taiwanese low-cost carrier too and the experience was pleasant. (:
IT was the IATA code of the defunct Air Inter (France) and then of Kingfisher Airlines (India). Not a very good omen; I hope that Tiger Air Taiwan will fare better.
I guess this report is unfinished at time of my reading ? There is no narrative about the flight, and the ratings for TPE are all at the default 5.
