Hi everyone and this is my first flight report , hope you enjoy this .

I left home at around 12 p.m and went to Hong Kong International Airport by taxi , I arrived HKG at about 12:45 p.m , I got myself a lunch after check in and entered the airside .

Boarding gate changed to 42 after I arrived at the original gate 47 , so I walked back to gate 42 , CX420 will continue its journey to Seoul , South Korea after stopping at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport for one hour , boarding started at 13:50

My friend caught my flight on FR24
We soon decent into Taipei after the meal service , since this is only a 1 hour and 20 mins flight , I did not use the in flight entertainment system , we circled for a while before landing

Thanks for sharing this first report with us! It's amazing how many flight CX has to Taipei. I see you got one of the cabins that still have the older fixed shell seats. I've heard a lot of complaints about how uncomfortable those can be, but that didn't seem to be a problem for you--maybe because it's a very short flight? It is certainly nice that the seats are in the roomy 3-3-3 configuration and noone can recline the seat in your face with the shell, so that is nice as well.

This snack box isn’t as good as what CX used to offer, but it looks better than what others have shown on HKG-TPE reports. I like how the bag has a ribbon, a classy touch by CX.
Shame you didn’t get to sit on the right side of the plane, it is always beautiful views along the Taiwan coast as you fly up from Tainan to Taipei to land. I’ve flown in these seats before and found them to be pretty hard, but at least you didn’t have to sit on them for the TPE-ICN flight.
