The next morning I spent my time at Cologne/Bonn Airports viewing deck where I was going to be until 2pm where I would go to Security and find a decent place to view before my flight arrived.

This is my first time flying easyJet. Also my first time on an Airbus A319. I was excited about this… Then an Airbus A320 showed up at Cologne/Bonn, however it had sharklets, so this compensated. My flight was operated by G-EZWY. Quite a new plane, It was delivered on September 5th 2014 to the airline, making it the youngest aircraft to date I have flown on.

The flight arrived on time, however it took a bit longer to off load the pax and clean cabin. I waited for the que to die down before I got on board the aircraft.

The flight departed about 10 minutes later than scheduled, which wasn't a long delay. I wasn't too fussed over that. The plane had the new seating for easyJet. Which is similar to what most airlines are redesigning their economy cabins to. I liked the room and comfort. Pretty good.

As we taxied I noticed some planes at a distance rotting at the side of CGN. A sad sight for any Aviation Enthusiast.

The flight was in really nice and good weather, which was consistent until we got about 15 minutes from landing. I nabbed some nice pictures from above.

I purchased three snack items: Pringles, Kit-Kat and a Hot Chocolate for £5 over all. Quite good value from a L.C.C

We arrived into London Gatwick, I asked about the flight deck and I got in, not only did I get footage & pictures, I also got a picture with the Captain, courtesy of the First Officer, big thank you to them both.

I left the aircraft and grabbed some pictures through the rain covered windows of the Terminal before going through Passport control and then getting home to Burnham.
