This flight report covers my trip to Rhodes Island, Greece.
Background
My schoolmate and my best friend called me few days before flight. He asked me If I want to join in to a vacation in Rhodes, Greece. As I needed some brake from school and I wanted to fly again (My last trip was to Vienna, Austria in March 2015), I agreed to join.
Flights cost 390$ per 2 directions. In my opnion, it's pretty expensive for 1.5 hour flight. Sometimes you can find flights on this route for 140$.
We were staying 4 nights at Atlantica Aegean Hotel (5*) that located near Kolympia, half an hour from RHO Airport. We hadn't payed for our staying in the Hotel because we're VIP guests of the Hotel, As a result our vacation was pretty cheap.
Our Flights:
Tel Aviv (TLV) -> Rhodes (RHO) LY5033 B738 (You're Here!)
Rhodes (RHO) -> Tel Aviv (TLV) BZ761 B734
We arrived to the duty-free area after check-in, Passport Control and the security checks. I decided to spot on some planes:
Turkish Airlines Airbus A330-300 and United Boeing 777-200ER:
EgyptAir Express (formarly Air Sinai) Embaraer 170, Easyjet Airbus A320, Norwegian Boeing 737-800 and Transavia Boeing 737-800 as well.
As I had free time before boarding I decided to visit in Dan Lounge:
Time to go to Our plane!

2 B738: A Transaero's one and an El Al's one:
The passport control passed quickly as we're the first on the line, and our baggage arrived quickly. We went to our driver and after half an hour we arrived to our hotel.
That is a very generous seat pitch for Economy, in fact it looks like domestic First in the US.
Thanks for sharing! Those seats look like business class seats. I'm guessing they don't sell Business on this route so it was considered Economy? How did you get those seats. Could anyone get them at check-in or do you have to have status?
My friend's dad is the operator of this flight and others, so as a result we get upgrades and the best seats on the plane. We sat on 3 regular Economy Class seats but we're only 2. The seat pitch is really generous, even more the C class.
Thansk for sharing this report :)
This flight was oerated by El Al or Sundor ?
See you,
The flight was oprated by Sundor, but as Sundor don't have an operation license, It only called Sundo'r but the flights operate on 2 Boeing 737-800 with 183Y2C seats - 4X-EKI and 4X-EKR, as on my flight from AMS to TLV (I published this FR).
Sometimes flights operate on UP planes - also 737-800
Thanks for your answer :)
