REPORT
Taking the train from Luxembourg to CDG T2 Station, pitch is great for Seconde class
Arrived 3h before flight, walked 5 minutes to the Terminal 2A.
Check-in done heading to security then Duty Free. There's a renovated connection building between T2A and T2C which is very nice!
Heading to the gate A50 where the plane is parked, couldn't spot the plane it was hidden by the jet bridge.
Boarded the plane on time, cabin crew were very smily! what a great way to start a trip!
The CX278 was originally operated by an A340-300, but it was replaced by new 777. 3-3-3 is very comfortable.

Took off 5min behind schedule, appetizer : Peanuts and a drink, Menu distributed at the same
Diner was really good!
Starting my first movie : Fury (great movie!)
Cabin prepared for the night
Slept approximately 5hours, worked on my review to upload on Youtube. Starting my second movie : The equalizer (wasn't bad)
Cabin slowly woke up
Small toilet tour for those who are interested
Breakfast was excellent
Approaching HKG
Landed on time
After a 20min taxi ride, finally arrived at the hotel check out that view!

CDG looks very nice, well it's in Paris, after all. Looks disorganized though...
I am greatly impressed by the meals and IFE, regional flights are a different story though.

I really enjoyed it! I really appreciate people who share their experiences with us, whether on youtube or on a blog/website.
When you go on Southeast asian routes especially Manila and Taipei however, the service is meager and the seats are pretty old, I hope they would be better the next time around :-)
Oh I see! CX is actually retiring their old plane like 747 and A340 by 777 and 333! Thanks a lot for that! Hope you'll enjoy upcoming reviews on the channel!
Thanks for sharing this report with nice photos. Funny that there are two reports on the same flight in a row. It's good to compare the service in Y vs. J. The cabin looks quite nice and comfortable in the traditional 3-3-3 configuration. It really makes the 3-4-3 config look like a sardine can. The catering looks pretty good.
