The first of my two homebound flights back to Singapore.

After a frankly exciting two-and-a-half weeks in Italy, it's finally time to head home. The flight is a caodeshare between KLM-Air France and Alitalia. Immigration at Fiumicino was swift and efficient with no hitches and once through, I headed to McDonalds to grab a bite before the flight.
Crossing Fiumicino's immigration.

Boarding pass for this flight. Seated in Row 15, Seat A

Walking though Fiumicino's short-haul terminal.

A couple of Alitalia planes waiting.

Boarding begins with SkyPriority Passengers and Skyteam Elite members before us regular folks.

A last peek of the plane at the Rome.

Boarding the flight. Up close of the Jeep Renegade livery

Seated in the standard economy or 'Classica' seat. I'm roughly 6ft tall and I found the legroom to be decent.

A view of the cabin as boarding continues.

Looking out at the terminal as another Alitalia plane comes in.

The single service on this short-haul flight.

A single packet of salted snacks and a cup of juice.

Coming into Charles de Gaulle, on final approach, into the evening.

Arrival into Charles de Gaulle, waiting for disembarkation.

Final look at Alitalia's 'Classica seat.

Disembarking the plane!

The transition to the second leg of my journey was smooth. Immigration for international departures were very quiet and took no time at all to clear. The terminal seemed new and was very beautiful. Picked up a bottle of Prosecco at Duty-Free before heading to the gate. Charles du Gaulle has really improved from my previous visit almost a decade ago.
Nice report with good pics and details. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for continuing this series with us!
I really like FCO's Concourse B, the wood floors are nice and the bathrooms are some of the best I've seen recently.
Jeep special livery? That's very random for AZ! It's interesting that this is the second report aboard an AZ A321 where the mini IFEs have been removed.
cup of juice
- You mean venomous poison :)
Very standard European flight. I felt the AZ seats were comfortable, but they were very old and looked to be in bad condition.
Nice AF A318 spotting at CDG!
I would ask you why you rated the AZ FAs so poorly, but I already know the answer to that question :)
Smooth flight to Paris
