Unfortunately I didn't take many photos on this flight as I was extremely tired. The main thing i didnt take was the food we got when we got on the plane. The food was delicious i had a beef stroganoff type meal, it was very good. also the dessert wast fantastic it was a mango cheesecake. We Transited from our previous flight so didn't really see how big the airport was but from what we saw it was very small. We went into the lounge which was very small but nice with some nice food and drinks.
After the lounge we boarded the plane and settled into our seats. These seats are insanely comfy which was good. My wife put it into sleep mode and slept for 6 hours without any aches or pains, i slept for 5 without any trouble, we could have slept for more but we woke up for breakfast. Entertainment was good with about 10 of the latest movies. Everything was excellent making this 10 hour flight feel much much shorter.
I didn't get any photos of LA airport as it was packed. Ill try and get airport and plane photos on the way home. Thanks for reading and ill see you in the next one.
Thanks for this good ( despite being a bit short!) Flight Report. The cabin looks very comfortable and seems to offer a good level of privacy with a good IFE. Too bad that you do not have any pics of the catering as I would be curious to know what this unusual airline on FR offers !
Looking forward to reading a more comprehensive report on your trip home. Bon voyage!
Im flying the same flight home so i will make sure that i take the pictures of food then :)
Looking forward to read it ! thanks ;-)
Thanks for sharing, looking forward to the return leg's report, but initial impressions of this cabin are very good. Are those full lie-flat? They look just like SQ regional product on the A330s.
@Kevin: Next time take the food menu with you so you can take pics later if you don't get to do it on the plane :-)
- I still make this rookie mistake :(
they go to 176 degrees so feels practically flat and you dont not slip at all great seats. also you have you remember this costs half the price of other carriers out of Australia to LA, so when you add that inn its amazing
A comparison to SQ shouldn't be considered a criticism. I think the FJ hard product looks much better than the VT product, which is a very close comparison for a leisure route from Oceania to LAX.
Thanks for sharing, FJ J worth a try apparently !
